Sunset behind the meadow

Wall hanging inspired by ‘The Hanger’ and ‘Long Meadow’ at Gilbert White’s Museum and Garden and Selborne in Hampshire. Woven using skills from the tradition of Dorset Button making with a variety of wool yarns within a handmade Willow ring, embellished with upcycled and other beads and fibres. Willow sourced from the Sustainability Centre at East Meon in Hampshire. Backed with felt and a hanging ring. Diameter 20cm.
